When looking for inspiration from other coders look no further than CodePen.io
For those not familiar, CodePen is a online community for testing and showcasing user-created HTML, CSS and JavaScript code snippets and are tons of new submissions each day. It is one of the largest communities for web designers and developers to showcase their coding skills and last reports estimated over 330,000 users on the platform. If your looking for a cool hover effect or trying to add a jQuery smooth scroll effect most likely someone has a code snippet of it on CodepPen for you to test out.
While I have mainly in the past used it as a private resource to test out small elements for a website, this site offers so many amazing things that I figured it was time to start my own public collection. While I have a long road ahead of me to make a good archive here is my kick-start.
Due to the Halloween season, I decided to animate a one of my typography pieces and focus around the moon using only HTML and CSS.
